Charles Leclerc is known to have absolutely abysmal luck most of the time. It often feels that anything that can go wrong, does go wrong for him. Whether that be poor strategy, unreliability or just circumstances out of his control, it seems like something is always against him. It's been a common sentiment amongst his fans of "why can't Charles benefit when the top teams are at a disadvantage?"
This weekend however, luck seemed to be on his side. The weekend started with the assumption that McLaren and Red Bull would be dominant once again, but that only turned out to be somewhat true.
In Qualifying, Charles put in an incredible lap and was able to drag his tractor of a car up into P2, ahead of the Red Bull of Checo Perez. This would already be an incredible feat considering the Ferrari is currently the 4th fastest car on the grid, BUT, Max Verstappen, who had secured pole position had a 10 place grid penalty. This meant that Charles would inherit pole position for the race on Sunday.
He followed through by having a strong race and managing to keep both the superior Red Bull of Max and McLaren of Lando behind him, despite them both having DRS. Realistically, it should've been an easy pass for the both of the with Charles in a severely lacking car but he kept them at bay and held onto his P4 position. His drive was very deserving of a podium but George Russell pulled off a shocking one-stop race and crossed the line first, leaving Charles down in P4 behind Oscar Piastri in the McLaren.
His impeccable luck continued because George Russell was actually disqualified from the race due to his car not meeting the minimum weight requirement afterwards. This disqualification promoted Charles into that P3 podium position that he was deserving of.
Charles' own skills and talent were definitely what put him in these positions to reap the rewards of the penalties by those ahead of him but it was shocking that cards actually played out in his favor for once. Usually, fans of his have to deal with bad things happening to him and providing other drivers with benefits but today we got to celebrate!

It is very well written. Absolutely love the visual that you are giving the reader.
